Billy McCutcheon Bikes….
Having now spent almost 35 years in the motorcycle trade with 22 of those spent in Rod Taylor Motorcycles- 13 of which were spent working full time in the workshop.
I first met Rod Taylor in 1979 and I did bits and pieces of work for him and by 1982 I was working full time in the workshop. Between Rod’s and the other bike shops in Donegall pass, most things could be repaired.
I was also fortunate to work with Dainese for 17 years –but I was always happiest in the workshop for my real love has always been bikes and engines.
It seems to me that…“The future is backwards” for I am working on as much old stuff as new. I have restored bikes from the 70s right through to the present day but restoration work can be a lengthy process- please feel free to contact me for a consultation.
I also do general servicing and repairs- BMW clutch replacement and Gearbox rebuilds.

Some call it old fashioned but I call it proper customer care, I am an old customer and friend of Rod Taylor motorcycles and subsequently Billy McCutcheon. I can’t recommend Billy high enough during his time at Rod Taylor’s I witnessed him perform miracles on tired old neglected bikes, he rebuilt the gearbox on my XBR 500, sorted out the wiring on my MZ TS 250 and offered helpful advice on a range of matters in relation to bike purchases. He recently replaced the cam belts on my Ducati 996 , Billy is passionate about bikes takes pride in his work and offers the type of customer care long since forgotten by the ultra modern franchise .
